  • March 13- MI Alliance of TimeBanks Virtual Speed TimeBanking at 6 PM over zoom. Meet folks from all over Michigan interested in sharing skills, talents, resources, and needs. Come with offers and requests that you want to share with others. All are welcome.
  • March 16- Book Club Meeting at 3 PM at 27th Letter Books (3546 Michigan Ave). We will be discussing A Thousand Ships by Natalie Haynes. The book is available for purchase at 27th Letter Books and available at the Detroit Public Library in a variety of formats
  • March 18- Family Game Night from 6-8 PM at Amanda’s House (1575 Military). Bring a dish to share for a potluck dinner or just bring yourself. All ages are welcome!
  • March 19- New Member Orientation at 7PM in our  orientation zoom room. Attending an orientation is required of all new TimeBank members. These short (usually less than an hour) meetings allow us to get to know you, answer any questions you might have, and show you how the TimeBank works!
  • March 22- Iftar Cooking Class at 4 PM at Bridging Communities (6900 McGraw). We will learn about history & traditions of the Ramadan season while we learn how to cook delicious Yemeni cuisines with TimeBank member, Masira Saleh. We will have take out containers for those who want to take their meal home to break their fast after sunset
  • March 25-  Monthly TimeBank Planning Meeting at 6 PM in our planning zoom link. These meetings are open to all our TimeBank members to hear about what is going on with the TimeBank and to contribute your ideas for events and projects. We always love to have new people involved.
  • March 26- TimeBank Happy Hour from 5:30-7:30 PM at Donovan’s Pub. Come enjoy a beverage with other TimeBank members. We’ll provide some light snacks. Folks interested in joining the TimeBank or learning more are also invited to join in
  • March 29- International TimeBanking Day Clothing Swap+ from 1-4 PM at First Latin American Baptist Church (2004 Scotten). Stop by any time with clothing in good condition that you no longer want, and swap it out for something new-to-you. Besides the Clothing Swap, Detroit Repair Cafe will be set up, Detroit Champions of Hope will have a kids’ activity, and there will be information on joining or starting a TimeBank.
